Kingussie is located in the Scottish Highlands near to the Cairngorms National Park. We have taken numerous photographs on the sites, scenes in the area including wild flowers and animal wildlife.
The highland mountains are essentially a wilderness with pockets of population. Years ago the whole are was populated by the scotttish clans until 250 years ago, when they marched south to do battle with the English.
Resulting from that the scots were evicted from their homes to the colonies, thereby leaving the countryside the preserve of the hunting and fishing fraternity.
Recent years has seen a considerable change to the area, where one of the main attractions now is for tourists who wish to enjoy this fabulous wilderness that is The Scottich Highlands.
